Our units have undergone thorough testing from accredited independent laboratories. The Radiometric Technical Reports below show the UVC wavelength and intensity as well as the direction of the light in a typical space. The Safety Technical Reports below show a measurement of UVC light from specific distances from the fixture. Our fixtures are all in compliance with the requirements set by UNE0068 specification from the point of view of emitted UV radiation.

1 Unit Treats up to 645 Square Feet
LIGHTDISTM wall-mounted upper air units have been proven to be safe and effective for many years. However, tests show that they only effectively eliminate airborne viruses to a distance of about 10 feet from the unit. They work fine in rooms less than 20 feet wide. But what do you do in a space that is wider than 20 feet? You install our patented ceiling-mount 360 degree UVC unit in the center of the room. What are the benefits? Our ceiling-mount unit uses 4 lamps to radiate light in every direction...up to 645 sq ft per unit! More power and greater exposure mean that you have to buy less units to get excellent UVC upper-air coverage in a large space. Great for waiting rooms, cafeterias, auditoriums and any other large open space where cross-infections may occur. Our units are easy to install and maintain. An optional drop-ceiling installation kit is available to achieve a finished professional installation..
3D Light Intensity Mapping
This service really sets us apart in the UVC upper-air fixture field. Send us a simple room diagram or a complex blueprint of your space and we will use our high-tech software to create a 3D model showing the best place to install our fixtures for maximum effect. Our software also maps UVC intensity at any point in the room so we can ensure proper exposure for virus inactivation. We can also test the UVC strength at eye level, ensuring that occupants are not exposed to levels above the 40 hour/week limit set by UNE0068. How are we able to provide this service? We have complete radiometric data for our LIGHTDISTM fixtures, enabling us to know the exact light output and to accurately position them for the best germicidal effect. So, we don't just guess at efficacy and safety...we are able to prove our claims using the latest high-tech 3D light modeling software in your specific space. “Consider using ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) as a supplement to help inactivate SARS-CoV-2, especially if options for increasing room ventilation are limited. Upper-room UVGI systems can be used to provide air cleaning within occupied spaces.”

How Do Upper-Air Units Work?
The Upper-Air units are mounted at a height of 7 or 8 feet on the wall. Louvers on the units direct the UV light upward. This creates a zone of UV light at the top portion of the room, above the occupants. Natural convection, air from HVAC vents and human movement cause the air in the room to circulate. As air enters the disinfection zone, it is exposed to the UV light rays. This inactivates microorganisms in the air.
Send a Loud and Clear Message
An Upper-Air UVC light in your facility positions you and your business as an industry leader. It also sends a message to your staff and visitors that you care about their health and well-being. It gives them a sense of safety and security while they are visiting. You will get lots of "thank-yous" and compliments for investing in their health.
This patented upper air fixture from LIGHTDIS provides treats up to 160 sq ft. Designed to be mounted 7 feet or higher, this unit distributed UVC light to the upper portion of an occupied room.
Our units have undergone thorough testing from accredited independent laboratories. This patented upper air fixture from LIGHTDIS provides 360 degree coverage and treats up to 645 sq ft. Wall-mounted upper air fixtures are not suitable for bigger rooms because the UVC light only extends about 10 feet from the unit. Most wall-mounted units cover 100-300 sq ft. This monster doubles that which means less fixtures and less cost for you and your facility.
